The Alliance is excited to announce the new release of our Scripture memory workbook series, “Precept Upon Precept, Line Upon Line”, which is rooted in the themes of the Westminster Shorter Catechism. This plan was developed to encourage even the youngest of children to begin meditating on and applying the memorization of Scripture. We believe that doing so sets them on the path to valuing and incorporating Biblical truth into their everyday lives.
The workbooks were created with individualized pacing in mind. There are 10 levels which can generally begin around age 2 and range all the way through elementary school to about 12 years of age. We provide a generalized breakdown of the levels and books, however, recognize that each child is different and may work through the books at a different pace than their peers.

Book 2 | Levels 5-7 | Ages 6-8
Book 3 | Levels 8-10 | Ages 9-12
There are nine months for each level, designed so you can start at any time of year. Each month is related to a particular theme of the Westminster Shorter Catechism. We welcome families, churches, and homeschool groups alike to begin utilizing these workbooks in order to equip the next generation to know, love, and obey God’s Word. May these workbooks help to spark meaningful conversations between children and adults as they contemplate the Biblical truths behind each of the verses they memorize!
